Why odes everybody think I’m gay?

Well, this is a very stupid issue but I need an answer. My adams apple hasn’t really formed yet, even though I’m 16, wich makes my voice sound squeaky,uncharted and spiraly and all the other men I know, I really don’t treat women like trash and victimize them as just mere sex idols. I guess the men in my enviornment want me to treat women a certain way, and its taboo to treat them any other way. I mean, I do have girls for friends but still can’t get a date, but nevertheless i treat them like naturally empowered women. It’s not like I carry a purse or make out with other men (nothing wrong with that, by the way…just not my thing). Is it because I never really had a gf? Is it because I don’t pursue women or sports, like the other men in my enviornment? Is it because i put my head in more intellectual spheres of life? How do I break that whole thing about people always asking me or at least just seeing me as a contemporary guy that has evolved into a more mature man?

i got attracted to this cute & funny guy who’s a regular customer in our cafe.I’m single so i’m open to the possibility that he could be the one. I really have fun talking to him coz he makes me laugh.But days passed i saw him go out with another girl but im not sure if it is his gf.But yesterday it was confirmed that he’s taken coz my friend asked him and he said yes it was his gf. I felt crushed and disappointed with myself for flirting and falling for his charms and sense of humor. I know it’s my fault for expecting too much from this guy.Now,i wanna gain back the self-respect as a girl for he made me feel like second best & just a plaything even though it was just a little flirting.I realized that maybe because i am just a simple cashier that’s why it was easy for him to play around.But i am not that kind of girl.My job is temporary here coz i just recently graduated in College.I’m doing the job to help out my aunt who owns the cafe for awhile as a sign of gratitude for the support she gave.But now i feel so insecure & helpless.I don’t know how i can make him feel sorry for making me believe that the feeling was mutual..How do i deal with him now i know the truth? i just can’t ignore him and pretend that he’s not there.I’m forcing myself not to like him anymore knowing he likes to flirt.How am i gonna empower myself and gain back my self-confidence in my situation after what happened?

I see these Dove ads of plus size women and they are running the commercial with the little girl under so much pressure from staring at all the “sexy” model ads. —Have you ever wondered about some kind of double standard why are there no “real men” on the cover of romance novels(the “real women” have fantasies about the men in these novels) with some sub-title like “not every man has a six-pack” or “I like my man boobs just the way they are.” –Don’t say that I’m missing the point and that these ads are to empower women and free them from the oppression to be thin. Or say something like you don’t understand women go through this whole routine to get ready for an event and men just throw stuff on (Summer’s Eve commercial) however when men do take very long to get ready for an event they get called “metro” or “borderline” or “gay” and then people say stuff like women want real men. People also say well teenage girls starve themselves and put themselves through all kinds of torture. While no one seems to care teenage boys are just lifting away in high school weight rooms across the country being admitted to emergency rooms for numerous injuries due to over trainning, but I’m sure they’re just doing it to build bone density to prevent hip fractures when they are 60(scarsam). It’s like women are enjoyed on a broader spectrum. For men if you don’t have abs you suck if you don’t make her laugh you suck if you can’t provide for her you suck if you are not smart you suck and so on with no exceptions. Not to say one sex has it harder or one sex is better they need each other. Tell me what you think. Thanks.

That is so messed up. Men would attack other men hitting women. I was honestly hoping one of those women would have slapped the woman hitting him. An empowered woman in my opinion is one who can and WILL play the role of a hero.

That cop was just beyond disgusting. He should be fired.

And I can’t believe that woman cheered. People use that as an expression but she actually did it. I feel bad for the guy who ends up with her.

I can’t believe they don’t realize that nobody is safe from an abusive woman who hits her man.

After she hits him it is very likely she will abuse their children and abuse his mom. Do women not realize that daughters and mothers are the targets of an abusive wife as well?

I’m 16 years old and from Evanston, Illinois. I’m mixed with black and white. I have no brothers and sisters and its just me and my mom. I can be very shy but when the time is needed, very outspken. I’m very intellectual, go to school and know mt priorites, I even completed my very own manuscript. I love rock music, especially Evanescence. I am very intrested in metaphysics and it would be nice if those who are intrested would know about it. I’m straight and I don’t just look at the physical attractivness at a woman, I look at the intellectual, emotional, intuitive and mental side of a woman as well. i have been with a girl for 18months, im 23 and she is 19. amonth ago she broke up with me, because she said i put her in a box. we also broke up beacause in a week she met someone, who is now pressuring her into sex….she has an addictive personality…and is having trouble with dieet pills. and selfesteem issues. she cries with me but goes back to him because she is dependant on him….socially, and transportation wise, he works with her….she has a problem with rejection….her father left when she was a baby…shes depressed but keeps on a mask when other people are near…how can i help her before she goes overboard with this guy and messes up her self? i want to help, not be her boyfriend right now, she has to find herself first. but is getting stuck in a cycle.i know she needs to make the choices. but she doesnt know the negative effect such things can have…how can i empower(by making it her decision, not mine)her to make the right decision for herself before it is too late?
