DIVA - "Dedicated Individually to Valiantly Assist"International Inc. Is a private nonprofit organization in South Carolina, providing comprehensive programs for girls, and young women. Founded in 1999 DIVA has been serving the Midlands providing resources, workshops, seminars and camps that empower girls and young women to become self reliant and knowledgeable on everyday life skills. The organization was founded based on statistics unique to the Midlands of South Carolina. DIVA impacts the lives of over 500 young women and girls per year, particularly girls and women in low-income and disadvantaged communities that have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. Every female can benefit from the services and resources provided by DIVA - our goal is to inspire every female to accomplish their hopes and dreams regardless of present or past situations. We instill confidence and celebrate the talents, diversity and strengths of the girls and women in these communities by providing comprehensive programs and activities geared toward encouraging higher education, social awareness, arts and cultural exposure and healthy lifestyles. Our quest is to provide programs and activities that will address issues surrounding issues that impact the lives and livelihood of young girls and women to ensure them becoming productive, positive and independent citizens. Our programs are tangible to any girl or young woman in need of a strong support system or mentoring that they may be missing at home, school or amongst their immediate contacts and neighborhoods. Our program is focused on teaching prevention and intervention skills and techniques for all females.

WE ENCOURAGE, ENLIGHTEN,EMBRACE AND EMPOWER GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN OF THE MIDLANDS TO REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL AND TO CELEBRATE THEIR SUCCESSES BY PROVIDING THEM WITH COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES TO MAKE POSITIVE LIFE CHOICES.

A DIVA representative can visit with you to discuss how we can make a difference in your comunity. Allow us to teach a girl how beautiful she is on the inside as well as the outside.
